Steel plates are available in 4 accent colours:

Each Factory-new plate is carefully bent and sculpted to fit the arm - some powder-coated paint might peel at the back - adding to the post-apocalyptic look. This is the design intent, as well as its asymmetric design. One of the plates will appear to have writing upside down.
 
The plates are shielded from your skin by the neoprene pouches for comfort and feature a fuel level gauge and “07” lettering.
