Our designer printed clothing, merchandise, embroidery, shoes & ID badges are all made on demand just for you and will be shipped separately from various locations including the USA, Latvia, China & Mexico. They may take up to a week to be crafted and they may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. Tracking numbers will be provided.

We cover the cost of shipping our domestic markets: the UK, Ireland & Germany on all orders we assemble in Scotland. Delivery is also free worldwide if you spend at least 178 GBP. For smaller value orders we charge very MODEST shipping charges at cost:

US Tariffs 2025

At present, de minimis exemption applies to all orders shipped from Scotland up to $800 in value. It is unlikely you would have to pay any tariffs on any of our modified masks, harnesses, tracksuits and custom work, despite the announced 10% tariff rate for the UK. Therefore most of our products assembled in Glasgow are safe from the tariffs and are free from US sales taxes also.

​All shoes, and most of our apparel & merch could however attract the new tariffs as it is dispatched by our partner workshops in China.

 

Sea-Air Workaround to remove tariffs - when possible, we will instruct partner workshops in China to send your shoes/merch/apparel by ship to the West Coast and then by plane within the US to avoid the tariffs. This adds 10 days to delivery dates - thanks for your patience. We cannot guarantee this loophole will apply to your order but we will do our best to save you money on customs.

 

Please consider the latest development on US tariffs before placing an order, as you would have to pay them as the receiving party.
 

Customs

Ultimately, as per our T&Cs, buyers are responsible for paying all tariffs and customs duties imposed on their orders as well as responding to any pay notifications from their nation's customs office. We do not take any responsibility for any parcels detentions by your nation's customs office.​

We take steps to mitigate any customs clearance problems. For Europe and Canada, items below 200 GBP in value are insured up to the value of 50 GBP and expected to attract minimal customs attention and either arrive without any custom duties charged.

 

Worried about high customs duties in Europe?

 

On your first order, we can make a 50 GBP commercial sample declaration for items listed at/below 200 GBP. EU import VAT on that would only be 10-20 EUR, if anything at all. Customs duties are usually not applied to orders under 150 EUR/135 GBP in declared value.​​

No invoice is present in the parcel (except Norway), nor any price tags. By law, we have to place a customs declaration sticker on the parcel declaring the insured value which is often less than the sale price.

​

Our Apparel and Shoes have the EU VAT taken at source and remitted to them, so you are unlikely to have to pay any import taxes on these in the EU.

Worried about a bigger order?
Our max insured amount is 250 GBP, therefore that the maximum declared amount for bigger orders on a single parcel shipped from Scotland.

Items from the Apparel and Merch sections will be shipped separately, some from an EU location already, others from China, and due to their lower value, they are unlikely to attract import VAT of any significance. Exclude these from your customs calculations on bigger orders.

Split your parcels
For only 10 GBP we can split your bigger order (2 items or more) to Europe into 2 parcels of only 50 GBP in value. This could minimise customs VAT and duties charged in your home country. Use your own judgement and experience for this upgrade:

​​EU - GPSR

Yes, we continue shipping the majority of listings to the EU/ EEA/ NI after GPSR took effect. As per its Article 51, Member States shall not impede the making available on the market of products covered by Directive 2001/95/EC, which we are in conformity, which were placed on the market before 13 December 2024.

​

​Our latest listings that can be classed as sculptural artworks may still be available to our EU / EEA/ NI customers until they sell 8 copies, at which point the GPSR exception ends, and the EU / EEA/ NI delivery option will be removed.

​

From 13 December 2024 a small number of our newest listings will become unavailable to EU/ EEA/ NI customers. The shipping option to the EEA & NI will be turned off for these.​ Switzerland will remain unaffected, until their legislators alight with GPSR at a later date. You can still get them delivered to their European destination via any reputable Parcel Forwarding Service which grants them a temporary UK-based address. We can use them to have your parcel relayed without our direct involvement. The cost of this is only about 15-20 euros. We ship to UK third party forwarders free of charge with:

Physical Address

We insist on shipping to permanent residential or commercial addresses and not Post Boxes. We may consider shipping to PO boxes of armed forces overseas at the buyer's own risk. We reserve the right to cancel orders to incomplete address entries, conflicting postcodes, shops, post offices, temporary accommodation, including mobile homes, caravan/trailer parks, campsites, services apartments/ airbnbs and hotels, or to request an alternative address that suits our delivery parameters and reduces the risk of delivery problems. We reserve the right to cancel the order and apply the 10% cancellation fee, should the shipping data discrepancy remain unresolved and unsatisfactory for a safe delivery of the order.

Promotional material

Each order from the non-apparel category will receive two postcards of KINK-OV-GEAR scenes which SpacePupSilver drew for us. In addition, a "thank you" slip with a 10% discount code will be included. It contains important safety information, disclaimers, T&Cs.

Your role

Since all our orders come with a tracking number, you must remain proactive in checking the parcel status every few days. It is up to you to clear any obstacles at your end. We expect you to chase up and phone up any delayed parcels and arrange for yourself the payment of any customs duties, any redelivery or collections from your local sorting office. We are unable to track daily every parcel we send, so please check the tracking number regularly at both the Royal Mail website (https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item) and your nation's chief post website. Please ensure you supply any required documentation and address confirmation to customs and the post authorities if requested.

TAX
All of your orders at our website are already tax free, and no UK VAT is payable on both international & domestic purchases. US orders made via our Etsy shop are subject to American sales tax of c.8%, which is automatically applied by Etsy. Some other nations also apply their taxes through Etsy. You can avoid it by checking out your order through this website.

Extras
If you ordered any extras, please confirm your customisation by order notes, contact form or replying to our welcome email.

Lens tint kits are for self application only and include the following colours: black, yellow and mirror: blue, silver, gold, brown, green and red. Detailed instruction for permanent and temporary applications will be supplied.

Timescales
Most items, including Blowing Head Gasket masks are assembled and shipped within 3 days, regardless of any requested customisation. We stock a wide selection of parts required to ensure your order is be fulfilled fast.

Vintage & rare mask designs may take 2 weeks to procure and import, with back up models available in case of any delays. Our Service Dog harness also has a lead time of 2 weeks.

 

Postal returns

As all our products are customised for every customer and cannot be resold easily, they fall under the special category of goods not qualifying for returns. Only pre-authorised returns due to defect can be accepted on items not previously worn or used, with all tags and hygiene seals still present.

In the event your parcel gets sent back to us, the sender (e.g. failure to collect it from the sorting/post office, rejection of delivery etc.), we will charge the buyer the paid postage plus the 30% restocking fee to cover all our customisation efforts and waste of materials.
